Our Fall Family Fun To Do 2013 (free printable)

I read somewhere that there are only 900 some odd weekends for a child from birth to high school graduation. That got me thinking... maybe I should make some plans to make some plans. So I decided to make a list of things I want to do and not just a list of things I need to do.

So I made "Our Family Fall To Do."

Meal Plan Monday 10-28-13

Greetings, friends. I do hope you all had a glorious weekend. Did you participate in some great fall activities?

We did.

Ry and I enjoyed some cooler weather and climbed a tree in the backyard.

And Jason hung a few Halloween decorations.

Five Meals Kids LOVE

I have to say that my little Ry isn't a picky eater. He has always been an eating champ. The kid still loves brocoli. Loves it. Can't get enough of the stuff.

But, as he has gotten older he has gotten a little more "perticular." Yeah, that's a good word, perticular. For example he will not, under any circumstances, eat mac and cheese that is not homemade. He won't even eat it from the deli.

However, I have come up with some home cooked meals he loves. I thought I would share some of his favorite meals. Breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Prosciutto and Kale with Orzo

Kale! Kale! Kale! It's not just for making chips and soup no one wants to eat. I was sure of that. I had half a bag of kale left over last week and since I am now living a waste not want not lifestyle I really didn't want it to go to waste.

So I thought and I walked around my kitchen and I pulled everything out of my cabinets and then it came to me! One of my favorite things to make is a pizza with caramelized onions and prosciutto. The salty and the sweet are incredible together.

Dairy Free Roasted Butternut Squash Soup

I don't know about you, but for me fall conjures up the image of soups, stews and the like. What about a delicous Butternut Squash Soup?
