To sleep...

I felt the tug of sleep pull me further and further under my comforter and I let myself drift. I was there, in the sweet spot, my eyes and body heavy with exhaustion, on the cusp of glorious slumber. Then I heard it... the diaper drop.

You mamas know what I'm talking about. That moment when your babe is warm and swaddled and passed out from a belly full of warm milk when they fill up their diaper.

My five favorite slow cooker recipes

I hear it time and time again: "I don't have time to cook my family a home cooked meal every night."

I hear what you're saying. You have work/home/church/civic/school responsibilities. You're tired and stretched too thin.

I stay home with my kids, and I have a small business. So my time is far more flexible than more women I know and I still don't always find time to cook.

But, I have found that for me there is always time to throw some stuff in my trusty slow cooker and go about my day.

So here are my five favorite slow cooker recipes.

Pizza Pot Pie

Who doesn't love pizza? I mean love it.

This was crazy simple. I mean crazy simple and will make a great week night meal.

You basically put your favorite pizza toppings in a pan and then cover it with crescent rolls and then bake. You could customize it the way your family loves it. Just vegetables for veggie lovers or lots of ham and bacon for meat lovers.
