I am back! Meal Plan Monday and Coming events (including a giveaway!)

I am back! It was nice to take a break. Even though it was abrupt. But have you ever just felt burnout? I did and honestly I got to where I just couldn't stand to look at the login button of this blog. And it was evident. Blegh. It was evident.

So let's slide back into things. There is a lot going on this week. SO I broke this blog into parts!

Life Updates:

Issie is turning 1 tomorrow! In celebration I will be sharing FREE birthday printables and there will be a giveaway on Friday.

I can't believe he is a year old and at the same time, it's been a LOOOOOOONG year.

He is walking and clapping and trying to talk. His sleeping is still hit or miss. But we'll get there. I have faith, my sistahs!

Meal Plan Monday:

Monday- Fiesta pork roast and fruit salad. 

Tuesday- Pulled pork chili (I will share this recipe)

Wednesday- Brown rice casserole and mixed vegetables.

Thursday- Roasted tilapia and mixed vegetables 

Friday- Pizza night!

Meal Plan Monday, Connect with me! 

Hey all. Or as we say in South Alabama, hey y'all! And no, it's not ya'll. That's incorrect. Don't spell it like that. I don't care that it isn't an actual word... just don't do it. 

Life Updates:

I hope you're all well. We had SO much going on last week and over the weekend. The main thing was Issie's birthday party. It was so much fun and I will talk more about it later and do a giveaway and have some free stuff, but here is a preview. 

 

Declutter Progress

Almost two weeks ago  I started the 31 Bags in 31 Days challenge. On Friday I hauled loads more stuff to the Goodwill. Toys, the boys clothes and some general clutter.

Monday- Pulled pork sanwiches and brocoli salad. 

Tuesday- Eggplant lasanga. I will share this easy low carb recipe. It's good, I promise. 

Wednesday- Chicken quinoa bowl 

Thursday- Bunless blue cheese burger. - I never made this last week!

Friday- Pizza night!

Meal Plan Monday 10-28-13

Greetings, friends. I do hope you all had a glorious weekend. Did you participate in some great fall activities?

We did. 

Ry and I enjoyed some cooler weather and climbed a tree in the backyard. 

And Jason hung a few Halloween decorations.

Meal Plan Monday 10-21-13

Greetings, friends. Did you have a good weekend? We enjoyed some cooler weather with not one but two fall fests this weekend. 

We enjoyed our church fall festival. 

And my husband's company picnic. 

And in case you think Ry never smiles here is a photo to prove he does. Also, yes, he is obsessed with that hat. 

Monday: Red Bean and Quinoa Burritos 

Tuesday: World's Easiest Stir Fry 

Wednesday: Cilantro, chicken and rice bowl 

Thursday: Oven Roasted Chicken Leg Quarters and Roast Green Beans 

Friday: Pizza night!

Meal Plan Monday 10-14-13

Hello. Are you guys getting ready for Halloween? I have to say that while I am not a fan of ghosts, witches and anything scary, I do love kids in costumes. And I am very excited about my babies costumes. But we will talk about that another day. 

I do hope everyone had a great weekend. My sweet mother-in-law came to town and Jason and I went on a minidate. 

It was coffee and cheesecake at the cafe inside the Barnes and Noble. But it was a minidate none the less. 

Unfortunately our little guys came down with something (Friday night after the pediatrician's office closed!) and we spent Sunday at urgent care. 

I know, the boy in that picture doesn't look sick. Minus the gross runny nose.

Okay. Meal plan time. Lots of fall things on this weeks menu and some heart healthy stuff as well. 

Monday: Black bean and rice casserole (this is new) Here is a recipe.  

Tuesday:Grilled turkey burgers with carrot chips (and by carrot chips I mean carrots cut to look like chips.) 

Wednesday: Chili. Yes, this was on last week's menu. But we didn't get around to it. 

Thursday: Roasted chicken with roasted vegetables 

Friday: Pizza night!
