<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img style="width: 650px;" src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/Spring Project 2013.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1364820861398" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>So it's been a full month of gardening and while our vegetables haven't fully "bloomed" I did spot 13 little green Roma tomatoes on the vine this afternoon. So exciting! Let's <strong id="internal-source-marker_0.31312221055850387"><span>#DigIn</span></strong></p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img style="width: 650px;" src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/IMG_1710.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1369521617297" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>I feel a great since of pride that I not only planted what will be some delicious organic vegetables, I have managed to not kill them. I think that's been the best part of this experience so far. Perhaps my black thumb turned green?&nbsp;</p>
<p><iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/HHNaKV6kp1U" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img style="width: 650px;" src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/IMG_1706.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1369521674525" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>And look at our basil! I mean look at it. It's gorgeous.&nbsp;</p>
<p>We have been watering our plants once a day, giving them about a half gallon each. Sometimes I water twice a day if it's super hot. (It was 90 today!)</p>
<p>Since we have put so much time and effort into this project I have been inspired to build a little fence around our garden to protect it from little critters tempted by our lovely vegetables. But that's something we will do later.&nbsp;</p>
<p>For now I am just basking in the glory of my healthy plants.&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/IMG_1708.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1369522022379" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>Look at our beautiful tomato plants. I am thrilled by how healthy and beautiful they are. To give you a good indication of how far we've come here is a before and after pic.&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img style="width: 650px;" src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/vegetable garden b and a.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1369522079689" alt="" /></span></span>It's been amazing to see how well the <span id="internal-source-marker_0.31312221055850387"><span>Bonnie Plants Organics</span></span>&nbsp;have held up without any fertilizer or chemicals.&nbsp;</p>
<p>And since we are a super frugal family, I will be saving seeds from our tomatoes, bell pepper and squash.&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/IMG_1707.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1369522516184" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>And while I don't want to "count my cucumbers before they appear" look at all the blooms on this beautiful cucumber plant. I can't wait to dip some cucumbers in homemade tzatziki sauce.&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img style="width: 650px;" src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/IMG_1712.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1369523287724" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>And of course I will be freezing zucchini and squash for breads, brownies and baby food! My three favorite B words.&nbsp;</p>

<p>I am in full nursery decorating mode, which is good considering my due date is like a week away.</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0547482485/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=0547482485&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=fivmeaandmor-20"><img src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/511lXsHtS4L._BO2204203200_PIsitb-sticker-arrow-clickTopRight35-76_AA300_SH20_OU01_.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1366812850255" alt="" /></a></span></span></p>
<p>New baby's room theme is "<a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0547482485/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&amp;camp=1789&amp;creative=9325&amp;creativeASIN=0547482485&amp;linkCode=as2&amp;tag=fivmeaandmor-20">The Little Blue Truck</a>." It's a sweet book about a truck and his farm animal friends that save a big mean dump truck from a mud puddle. S</p>
<p>This gives me lots of things to play with, both farm animals and trucks!</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/IMG_1652.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1366812663858" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>Before my husband and I got married he inherited this gliding rocker from his grandmother. I love it, but the fabric is... well... ugly.&nbsp;</p>
<p>I decided to give it a little update for baby's room. But there is just one problem. <strong>I DON'T SEW. At all!&nbsp;</strong>Thank heaven for staple guns!</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/IMG_1654.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1366813056525" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>First things first. I had to measure the cushions. Each one was about two feet wide.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Then I removed the cushions from the chair and draped them with this cute farm pattern I got at a local fabric store. I played around with it for a minute before I simple stapled it in place.&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/IMG_1655.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1366813145123" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>The cushions Velcro in place so I simple cut a hole for each velcro strip. Since they are in the back of the chair I didn't really care if they were covered in matching fabric.&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/IMG_1671.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1366813203469" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>Then I placed the cushions back on the chair and looked for any readjustments. The great thing about using staples is they can be easily pulled our and repositioned, unlike a seem on a pillow cover.&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/Gliding rocker.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1366813303541" alt="" /></span></span>Sure, it doesn't look professional and &nbsp;I have lots of friends who would have done a better job (and not had half the pattern upside down) but I'm pretty pleased with my efforts.&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/IMG_1674.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1366813352340" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>And don't you love that our farm includes a "Horton" doll? Jason picked that out. He is a big Alabama fan and thinks the boys each need a stuffed elephant when they are born.&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/IMG_1673.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1366813416774" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>Here are a few tips.&nbsp;</p>
<p>1. Always measure before you cut. Then measure again. Measure twice, cut once.&nbsp;</p>
<p>2. Always purchase more fabric than you need. You can always make curtains or a valance.&nbsp;</p>
<p>3. If you're a novice like me, ask the nice ladies at the fabric store for advice.&nbsp;</p>
<p>4. Forgive yourself if it turns out disastrous.&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Have you done any crafting lately?&nbsp;</strong></p>

<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img style="width: 650px;" src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/Spring Project 2013.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1364820861398" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>It&rsquo;s a beautiful sunny day in South Alabama. The grass looks lush and the high is in the 70&rsquo;s. It&rsquo;s the perfect day to get outside and dig around in the dirt. Let&rsquo;s #DigIn.</p>
<p>After planning our trip to the Home Depot and going to pick up all of our plants Jason and I were eager to get them in the ground.</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/DSC00002.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1367937386991" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>Last year my sweet husband was kind enough to build me a raised bed garden out of some recycled wood. After moving the box to a better spot, we were ready to go.</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/DSC00006 9.26.54 AM.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1367937413116" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>First Jason laid down some newspaper to prevent weed growth since we are not using weed killer on our vegetables.</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/Planting 2.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1367937443118" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>Then he covered the newspaper with soil and then some topsoil. We are using Vigiro organic soil. It's made for in-ground vegetables and herbs. He blended everything together very well.</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img style="width: 650px;" src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/DSC00018.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1367937529493" alt="" /></span></span>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Next we pulled the wrapper off of our Bonnie plants and placed them in the ground. Bonnie Plants are in a completely biodegradable pot made by the Jiffy Company. You just peal off the label and stick that plant in the soil. How easy is that?</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/DSC00030.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1367937581856" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>Look at our garden! (Ignore the hugely pregnant farm girl, please.) We have a couple rows of tomatoes, some squash, some cucumbers and various peppers. The tomatoes will be perfect for sauces and tomato sandwiches, I LOVE tomato sandwiches!</p>
<p>The squash will be great for making my own baby food when baby 2 is old enough. We planted our herbs in containers on our back patio so that I can keep a better eye on them. I love having them there. I can smell the basil and rosemary every time I walk by.</p>
<p>Once our plants were in the ground and our basil, oregano and rosemary were in their pots, we watered everything to a fare thee well.</p>
<p>We will be watering them twice a day for optimal growth and moisture. Last week we had some really great rain, which meant our rain barrel was full when it came time to water our plants Sunday.</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/DSC00022.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1367938254980" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>I just had to throw in this picture of our sweet baby chilling in his wagon!</p>

<p>I've told you how I am the least crafty person on the planet. And I am hoping some of you feel my pain. My hot glue gun induced pain.&nbsp;</p>
<p>I decided to make my boys some letters to hand on their doors.&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/IMG_1635.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1366811615719" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>I picked up these wooden letters at my local Hobby Lobby a couple weeks ago.&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/IMG_1636.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1366811660264" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>They were only $3.49 and I got an "R" for our big boy and an "I" for our new baby.</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/IMG_1637.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1366811767479" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>I got some acrylic paint for $.75. I got blue for the R and red for the I.&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/IMG_1639.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1366811811683" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>In five minutes flat I had them both painted.&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/IMG_1666.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1366811870115" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>Cute, right? I got a paint pen for $2 and wrote my boy's birthday (11-11-11) and a the reference to a special Bible verse.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Before my oldest boy was born I started praying and asking that God would lead me to a bible verse that I could pray over him.&nbsp;</p>
<p>This one became very special to me: <span id="en-NIV-15400" class="Ps-91-4 text">He will cover you with his feathers,</span><span class="indent-1"><span class="indent-1-breaks">&nbsp;</span><span class="Ps-91-4 text">and under his wings you will find refuge;</span></span><span class="indent-1"><span class="indent-1-breaks">&nbsp;</span><span class="Ps-91-4 text">his faithfulness will be your shield&nbsp;and rampart. Psalm 91:4.&nbsp;</span></span></p>
<p><span class="indent-1"><span class="Ps-91-4 text">My mother painted this verse on a canvas for our sweet boy's nursery&nbsp;and it was in the delivery room when he was born.&nbsp;</span></span></p>
<p><span class="indent-1"><span class="Ps-91-4 text">Of course our second sweet boy doesn't have a "birthday" yet and I am still praying about a verse for his letter.&nbsp;</span></span></p>
<p><span class="indent-1"><span class="Ps-91-4 text"><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/IMG_1667.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1366812017800" alt="" /></span></span><br /></span></span></p>
<p><span class="indent-1"><span class="Ps-91-4 text">Now I just have to hang them on the door.&nbsp;</span></span></p>
<p><span class="indent-1"><span class="Ps-91-4 text">Hanging letters are a great and cheap way to punch up a door or hallway. I mean just look at all the options on <a href="http://pinterest.com/search/pins/?q=letter%20door%20hanger">Pinterest</a>!</span></span></p>
<p><span class="indent-1"><span class="Ps-91-4 text"><br />&nbsp;</span></span></p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img style="width: 650px;" src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/Spring Project 2013.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1364820861398" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>It's turning out to be a busy, busy, busy spring at out house. We have lots of stuff growing, a toddler, a baby and now a vegetable garden.</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img style="width: 650px;" src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/DSC00009.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1367082254969" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>This week we headed to the Home Depot to pick out our organic vegetables and&nbsp;<span style="font-weight: bold;">#DigIn.</span></p>
<p>As I told you last week, while I don't buy all of our produce organic, I do try to stay away from a lot of pesticides, especially if I am feeding it to my child. And I hope to make some baby food from our garden for baby number 2. But outside of that, home grown vegetables just seem to taste better and they give someone like me a sense of accomplishment.&nbsp;</p>
<p>That pasta sauce you're eating, yeah I grew everything in it!</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img style="width: 650px;" src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/DSC00003.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1367082276387" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>So the Senn family headed out to Home Depot last Friday armed with our $100 budget and a pretty good idea of what we wanted.&nbsp;</p>
<p>The Home Depot has a variety of organic (and nonorganic)<span id="internal-source-marker_0.31312221055850387">&nbsp;Bonnie Plants Each. My favorite feature is that the Bonnie Plants are in a completely biodegradable made by the Jiffy Company. You just peal off the lable and stick that plant in the soil. How easy is that?&nbsp;</span></p>
<p>And <a href="homedepot.com/gardenclub ">The Home Depot&nbsp;</a>&nbsp;has an entire collection of Bonnie Plants Organics online. Each&nbsp;collection is part of a theme so each plant compliments the next. So simple!&nbsp;</p>
<ul>

<p>We looked a the tomatoes, spinach, herbs, zucchini, squash and peppers. And a sweet associate name Kori helped us with any questions we had. But I had already spent a lot of time on visiting the&nbsp;<a href="http://thd.co/16NTIqw">Garden Club</a>&nbsp;and on The Home Depot&nbsp;<a href="http://thd.co/16NTIqw">website</a>&nbsp;so I felt ready.&nbsp;</p>
<p>We loaded up our cart with several varieties of tomatoes, some sweet bell peppers, and basil or course basil. In fact, we got everything on our wish list.&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/DSC00011.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1367082477303" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>And Jason knew exactly the right organic soil to pick up. It's made for in-ground vegetables and herbs. We also got a spray nozzle to help with our watering, but I hope to utilize our rain barrel as much as possible. We are working to get everything in the ground this weekend.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Good thing I have this awesome (and pretty cute!) husband around to help, because I am way too pregnant and have killed way too many plants to do this on my own.&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img style="width: 650px;" src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/DSC00005.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1367082615370" alt="" /></span></span></p>

<p>I am not a crafty person. I don't sew. I am not a good decorator. I don't have the patience to commit long-term to crafting projects.&nbsp;</p>
<p>I get on Pinterest and I see all of these great craft projects and I get insanely jealous. But crafting just isn't one of my talents.&nbsp;</p>
<p>However, with a new baby boy coming I have felt the need to do some creative things for his nursery and circle back to do some things for my sweet big baby's current room.&nbsp;</p>
<p>So I am bringing you "Crafting in 15 For the Non-Crafty." It's short little crafting ideas that you can do even if you're crafting challanged.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Last week I pulled together this shadow box in about five minutes.&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img style="width: 650px;" src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/IMG_1643.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1366809112745" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>I bought two shadow boxes for $7 each at TJ Maxx.&nbsp;</p>

<p>I grabbed my sweet boy's hospital bracelet, his little hat and this beautiful photo taken by <a href="http://framephotograph.com">Frame Photography</a>.&nbsp;</p>
<p>I arranged them in place. Pinned them and called it a day.&nbsp; It's so sweet and so simple.&nbsp;</p>
<p>If you want some inpseration for some really beautiful shadow boxes look no further.</p>

<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img style="width: 650px;" src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/Spring Project 2013.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1364820861398" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>We are gearing up at out house to get our organic vegetable garden together and boy am I psyched. So let's <strong><span>#DigIn.</span></strong></p>
<p>I chose to take on the task of organic gardening because each year I try a vegetable garden and fail miserably. But, I am hoping to get a little help from the&nbsp;<a href="http://thd.co/16NTIqw" target="_blank">world&rsquo;s largest garden community</a>. Plus my husband built me a sweet raised bed garden last year and made me a rain barrel.&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/DSC00014.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1366641731651" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>Why organic vegetables? While I don't feel the need to buy 100 percent of our produce organic, I figure if I am going to all the effort of planting and raising a vegetable garden, I want it as healthy as possible. Especially since I plan on making baby food for baby number 2.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Have you heard of the dirty dozen? It's supposed to be the 12 most contaminated fruits and vegetables:&nbsp;</p>
<ul>
<li>Peaches</li>
<li>Apples</li>
<li>Sweet Bell Peppers</li>
<li>Celery</li>
<li>Nectarines</li>
<li>Strawberries</li>
<li>Cherries</li>
<li>Pears</li>
<li>Grapes (Imported)</li>
<li>Spinach</li>
<li>Lettuce</li>
<li>Potatoes</li>
</ul>
<p>I worry about pesticides in our food all the time and I try to buy the "dirty dozen" organic. But let's face it, that can get crazy expensive. So why not grow my own peppers and spinach?&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://cdn.thinglink.me/api/image/376789587697074176/1024/10/scaletowidth#tl-376789587697074176;626328886?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1366718772011" alt="" /></span></span><script async charset="utf-8" src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com//cdn.thinglink.me/jse/embed.js"></script></p>
<p>Last week I got my to do list ready to head to&nbsp;<a href="http://thd.co/16NTIqw">The Home Depot</a>&nbsp;for everything we need for our raised vegetable garden.&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/Shopping list.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1366640690741" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>I've got tomatoes, herbs, zucchini, squash, peppers and a whole lot more on my list. Plus I need lots of organic soil, <span id="internal-source-marker_0.31312221055850387">organic gardening supplies&nbsp;</span>and a new spray nozzle.&nbsp;</p>
<p>I am so excited to just get in there and get started <span id="internal-source-marker_0.31312221055850387">organic vegetable gardening</span>.</p>
<p>Clearly my garden was neglected over the fall and winter. I will be posting a before and after photo once we get everything in place.&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img style="width: 650px;" src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/DSC00103.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1366641201444" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>And I know that The Home Depot has a wide variety of organic plants ready to be used in my garden. I am excited go to the store with Jason and pick out everything we need. But he might have to reel me in.&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/IMG_0849.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1366641439167" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>Clearly the thought of going shopping has worn little bit out!&nbsp;</p>
<p>I know our garden will be a process, and along the way I will be visiting the <a href="http://thd.co/16NTIqw">Garden Club</a> on The Home Depot <a href="http://thd.co/16NTIqw">website</a>&nbsp;for help <span id="internal-source-marker_0.31312221055850387">organic gardening tips</span>.&nbsp;</p>

<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img style="width: 650px;" src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/Spring Project 2013.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1364820861398" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>I know much of the country has been beaten by snow over the past few weeks. It certainly doesn't feel like Spring in your town. But here in South Alabama it is sunny and warm. The lemonade is in the pitcher and we've switched from our winter flip flops to our spring flip flops.&nbsp;</p>
<p>I've got some exciting Spring projects coming up thanks to my friends at <a href="http://thd.co/16NTIqw">The Home Depot</a>. I am hoping to do a little gardening and a lot of playing with my boys.&nbsp;</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/Ryals 2 1-23-13.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1364820252087" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>Are you excited for spring? Do you have any projects you want to tackle? Head on over to the<a href="http://thd.co/16NTIqw"> Garden Club </a>to talk about it.&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/IMG_1715.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1364499861323" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>Last year Jason and I built this raised bed garden.&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/IMG_1709.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1364499891989" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>It was surprising simple and we made it entirely out of recycled wood. However, our "garden" did not fare so well.&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><a href="http://gardenclub.homedepot.com/start-seeds-at-home-with-a-seed-starter-kit/"><img src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/MB-seedstarter-martha-584.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1364821022282" alt="" /></a></span><span class="thumbnail-caption" style="width: 584px;">Photo Credit The Home Depot </span></span></p>
<p>So this year I am starting from scratch, and really learning how to grow a vegetable garden.&nbsp;</p>
<p>I am hoping to get a little help from the&nbsp;<a href="http://thd.co/16NTIqw" target="_blank">world&rsquo;s largest garden community</a>. I will be visiting the <a href="http://thd.co/16NTIqw">Garden Club</a> on The Home Depot <a href="http://thd.co/16NTIqw">website</a>&nbsp;religiously. So far I have found some good advice on things like organic seeds and installing bird netting.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Plus the site offers over $300 in email exclusive savings each year and some really cool sneak peeks of new products. Also, it is broken down by region. Which is great here in the land of humidity!</p>
<p>When you register you will get $5 off your next $50 purchase, ideas on new project, expert advice and monthly to-do lists. Plus videos! And you know I LOVE videos.&nbsp;</p>
<p><span>It's home improvement time, and The Home Depot has everything you need for spring.&nbsp; No matter what projects you want to tackle, The Home Depot has you covered and can help you&nbsp;</span><strong>#DigIn</strong><span>&nbsp;to spring.</span><br /><br /><span>Spring is the perfect time for all your outdoor home renovations. <p>We have gorgeous hardwood floors in the home where we currently live. And the owner of the home has gone to great lengths to keep them looking good for the past 60 years!</p>
<p>But, we are humans who have furniture, and lives and a baby. The floors gets scratched.&nbsp;</p>
<p>But I found a simple way to clean these scratches and scuffs using a surprising ingredient. Mayonnaise! Click the video below for more.&nbsp;</p>
<p><iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/1y1bDqmpCe0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></p>
<p>This is a simple two-step process.&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/IMG_1351.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1359473538871" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>You will need an oil based cleaner like castile soap or Murphy's Oil soap.&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/IMG_1354.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1359473600596" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>Clean the affected area with the oil soap using a soft cloth, like an old t-shirt.&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img style="width: 650px;" src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/IMG_1358.JPG?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1359473690897" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>Then spread a little mayonnaise on the floor. This part actually made me gag. I really dislike mayonnaise.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Leave the mayonnaise for 5-10 minutes.&nbsp;</p>
<p><span class="full-image-block ssNonEditable"><span><img style="width: 650px;" src="http://www.five4fivemeals.com/storage/IMG_1360.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1359473775346" alt="" /></span></span></p>
<p>Then wipe up and see the magic. The oil in the mayonnaise takes on the color of the floor. You will need to wipe up excess mess and oil with a cleaner so you don't slip later.&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Do you have an unusual way to clean something?&nbsp;</strong></p>
