I love pasta. Pretty much all pasta. The more tomato the better.

I love cooking, but I now have two babies trying to go off in two different directions and I need dishes that are packed with flavor, yet pretty quick to assemble.

This super simple baked ravioli with sausage fits the bill. And by super simple I mean SUPER SIMPLE.

What you'll need for Super Simple Baked Ravioli:

2 cups smoked sausage links, I used Conecuh because it's very delicious

1 small onion, diced

1 clove garlic, minced

1/2 cup chicken broth or wine

1 jar of your favorite tomato sauce (here is a recipe for my easy, veggie packed tomato sauce)

1 cup Italian blend shredded cheese

1 small package frozen ravioli

Heat up a little olive oil in a pan over a medium heat. Add in your onions and cook until they are translucent. Then add your garlic.

Add in your sausage and let crisp. You will then need to deglaze the pan using your wine or your chicken broth.

Frozen rav.JPG

Add your frozen ravioli to a casserole dish or glass baking pan. Preheat your oven to 350 and add your cooked sausage and onions.

Cheese on the rav.JPG

Cover in sauce and sprinkle with cheese. Then bake at 350 for 45 minutes until it's HOT all the way through.

The smokey flavor of the sausage mixes great with the tomatoes and cheese.
