How to Find Time to Pursue Your Goals While Working Full Time

Do you have things you want to do with your life, goals you want to pursue, but you feel you have no time? I understand. I really do. That was me for a long time. Then last summer I decided to go back to school. I am a work from home mom who homeschools her four kids and I found myself becoming a FULL TIME student. How? I am going to share I make the time for the life I want.

Start small

Don't try to learn too much too fast. Begin with a manageable amount of time each week, such as 30 minutes to an hour.

Prioritize

Identify the activities that are most important to you and allocate time for them in your schedule.

Use your free time wisely

Instead of spending time on unproductive activities, use your free time to learn something new.

Make a schedule

Plan out your week and allocate time for learning new activities. Stick to your schedule as much as possible.

Break it up

If you don't have a large block of time available, break up your learning into smaller chunks throughout the week.

Use technology

There are many online resources and apps that can help you learn new activities on the go, such as language learning apps or video tutorials.

Find a buddy

Learning with someone else can be more motivating and enjoyable. Find a friend who is interested in the same activity and learn together.

  • Multitask: If possible, try to combine your learning with other activities, such as listening to an audiobook while exercising.

  • Keep it fun: Learning should be enjoyable, so try to find activities that you're genuinely interested in and that you'll look forward to doing each week.

    Don't give up

Learning new activities can be challenging at times, but don't give up. Stay committed and persistent, and you'll eventually see progress.
